St Luke's welcomes and acknowledges the significant contribution made by parents and friends to the School. Beyond being fun and rewarding, volunteering at St Luke's is a wonderful way to foster community by engaging and interacting with families and students.
The School provides structured opportunities for parents and friends to volunteer. Our volunteers make a difference by strengthening and enriching school programs, supporting special events and establishing parent groups.
All St Luke's volunteers are required to formally register and to abide by the School’s policies and procedures. For further information on the various volunteering opportunities available within the School, please contact Mrs Kylie Rickard, our Head of People, Culture, and Compliance.
St Luke’s Anglican School is seeking expressions of interest from families who may be interested in becoming Homestay parents, offering international students a caring, comfortable and healthy environment that supports their academic pursuits.
Hosting an international student offers a mutually rewarding experience for both families and students. This culturally rich exchange broadens worldviews, fosters genuine understanding and appreciation between people of different backgrounds, and creates connections that span continents and generations.
Short-term and long-term hosting opportunities are available. Beyond the experiences shared and the memories formed, host families are also compensated financially for their participation in the program.
The School values the feedback we receive from parents. Regular ParentsConnect sessions are held throughout the year, providing parents with the opportunity to share their views with the School on several issues.
