Sparkling Debut for St Luke's Cheer Team

The air was electric with anticipation as our newly formed St Luke's Cheer team travelled to the Gold Coast to make their competition debut at the Allstars Cheerleading Federation State Cheerleading Competition.

After training hard all year, the girls brought incredible energy and plenty of sparkle to the stage, delivering a dynamic performance that impressed both spectators and judges. The dedication they've shown in perfecting their performance and building the mutual trust and synergy needed for competitive cheer was evident in every moment of their routines.

The students’ hard work, countless hours of practice, and unwavering commitment culminated in remarkable results that exceeded everyone's expectations. The St Luke's Cheer Team claimed first place in their High School Cheer division and secured an impressive second place in High School Pom–an incredible result for a debut performance.

Success in cheerleading extends far beyond the athletes on the mat. We recognise the efforts of Mrs Butler, our dedicated Cheer Coach, whose endless enthusiasm and expert guidance have been the driving force behind this program. Her commitment to developing not just skilled cheerleaders, but confident young women, is evident in every aspect of the team's performance and sportsmanship.
